DOS posted the visa bulletin for August 2023. USCIS determined that for August 2023, all family-sponsored preference categories must use the Dates for Filing chart and all employment-based preference categories must use the Final Action Dates chart in the visa bulletin. According to August 2023 visa bulletin, visa numbers will still be current for Second preference (F2A) – spouses and children (unmarried and under 21 years of age) of lawful permanent residents. Additionally, the Final Action Dates Chart shows that visa numbers are current for EB-5 petitions. The priority date for EB-1 is August 1, 2023, EB-2 is April 1, 2022, EB-3 (skilled workers and professionals) is May 1, 2020, and for EB-3 (other workers) is May 1, 2020.
This visa bulletin for this month shows the Diversity Immigrant category Rank cut-off number for Europe in September as 32,000.
