USCIS Releases Guidance Addressing International Entrepreneur Parole

USCIS has released policy guidance in the USCIS Policy Manual to provide direction on international entrepreneur parole. The new guidance applies to applications filed on or after March 10, 2023, and is effective immediately. The guidance is aimed at increasing entrepreneurship, innovation, and job creation in the United States. The public has until April 10, 2023, to submit comments on the new guidance. The policy guidance was introduced to complement the final rule that was published on January 17, 2017, introducing the criteria for entrepreneurs seeking significant public benefit parole. On May 11, 2021, DHS withdrew a proposed rule to rescind the final rule, indicating its support for the program.
