DOS posted the visa bulletin for April 2023. USCIS determined that for April 2023, all family-sponsored preference categories must use the Dates for Filing chart and all employment-based preference categories must use the Final Action Dates chart in the visa bulletin. According to April 2023 visa bulletin, visa numbers will still be current for Second preference (F2A) – spouses and children (unmarried and under 21 years of age) of lawful permanent residents. Additionally, the Final Action Dates Chart shows that visa numbers are current for EB-1, and EB-3 (skilled workers and professionals) employment-based petitions. The priority date for EB-2 is July 1, 2022, and for EB-3 (other workers) is January 1, 2020.
This month’s visa bulletin shows the Diversity Immigrant category Rank cut-off number for Europe in May as 30,000.
