DOS released the visa bulletin for September 2023. USCIS has specified that all family-sponsored preference categories must refer to the Dates for Filing chart, while all employment-based preference categories must follow the Final Action Dates chart in the visa bulletin. According to the September 2023 visa bulletin, the priority date for the Second preference (F2A) – spouses and children (unmarried and under 21 years of age) of lawful permanent residents is September 1, 2023. The Final Action Dates Chart indicates that visa numbers are current for EB-5 petitions. The priority date for EB-1 is August 1, 2023, for EB-2 is July 1, 2022, for EB-3 (skilled workers and professionals) is May 1, 2020, and for EB-3 (other workers) is May 1, 2020. Additionally, this month’s visa bulletin provides the Diversity Immigrant category Rank cut-off number for Europe in October as 45,000.
