Visa Bulletin For May 2024 (state.gov), applicants in all family-sponsored preference categories must use the Dates for Filing chart and all employment-based preference categories must use the Final Action Dates chart. According to the May 2024 visa bulletin, the priority date for the Second preference (F2A) – spouses and children (unmarried and under 21 years of age) of lawful permanent residents is September 1, 2023. Final Action Dates Chart indicates that visa numbers are current for EB-1 and EB-5 petitions. The priority date for EB-2 remains January 15, 2023, for EB-3 (skilled workers and professionals) is November 22, 2022, and for EB-3 (other workers) is October 8, 2020. Additionally, this month’s visa bulletin provides the Diversity Immigrant category Rank cut-off number for Europe in June as 21000.
