The Department of State (DOS) has recently made an important announcement regarding the Diversity Visa (DV) program for fiscal year 2024 (DV-2024) and subsequent years. Effective immediately, selectees are only required to submit the DS-260 immigrant visa application form for themselves and any accompanying family members to the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC). No other supporting documents should be submitted to the KCC. Instead, all the necessary supporting documents for DV-2024 selectees will be collected and assessed during the interview process at the embassy or consulate where the visa application is submitted. This streamlined procedure ensures that all relevant documentation is evaluated in connection with the visa application at the respective embassy or consulate.
Please note that this new process applies specifically to the DV-2024 program and future years.
